The following are answers to commonly asked questions about purchasing
and downloading software at Amazon.com.
What is the Vbox
client and why do I need it?
The Vbox client is the helper application that you will download with
your first purchase of downloadable software. This
application assists in downloading and decrypting your
final product.
What do I do if my
Internet connection breaks during the download process?
Reconnect to the Internet and click on the Resume download icon on your
desktop. Your download will pick up where it left off.
What if I have to
interrupt the download process?
If you need to interrupt the download process, click the "Finish Later"
button on the download screen. You can then either click
the Save button to save the link to your desktop and
complete the download at a later time, or click the
Resume button to begin the download again.
Can I get a
receipt for my purchase of the software?
Once you have successfully downloaded the software, click the View Slip
button in the Thank You dialog box displays.
Why should I
backup the license sent with the software I downloaded?
In the case of a hard drive crash, you will want to be able to download
and re-install the product. Click the "Backup" button on
the launch screen to create a copy of the license that
you can save to a floppy disk.
What if I decide
that I don't want the software I downloaded?
As it is not possible to "return" a downloadable item, you must
complete and mail or fax a Letter of Destruction which
promises that you have deleted the software from your
hard drive. You can begin the process by visiting the
appropriate order summary in
Your Account.
Can I exchange the
download version of a software title for the boxed
version?
No. You must complete and mail or fax a Letter of Destruction promising
that you have deleted the software from your hard drive.

purchase the boxed version of any title by visiting our
Software store.

Within
30 minutes of placing your order, you will receive an e-mail message
containing a link to your Digital Library.
Click
on this link, then click the appropriate download button in your Digital
Library to launch the download helper application. This is not the
actual product download; rather, it assists in downloading your final
product.
To
begin downloading your actual product, simply double-click on the helper
application once it appears on your desktop (or wherever you saved it on
your computer).
